I'm not asking if its worth getting one or not... i've already saved up more than enough money to purchase one. What i'm asking is which GeForce III Card to buy?? Such as Hercules, Asus etc... ??

Thanks. I really want a Geforce 3 Card, but before i spend my hard earned money, i want to make sure i buy the best one.

Best can mean different things. Best benchmark, best picture quality, best overclocking speed, ect.
They all are using the nvida reference board as the main design so the major difference will probably be the extras.
Depending upon what you want or consider more important will most likley decide what card you get.
Some have removable heatsinks, some have blue orb cooler, some have dvi.

Here is a link with all the different cards in 1 place so you can look at what each one has to offer.

Well, let me start out by saying don't... oh yeah, you said not to do that.

Well, if you aren't going to listen to reason, let me suggest: the CHEAPEST one! And if that doesn't satisfy you, then go with an Asus.

Right here we go the best make of GeForce III to get is definatly gonna be a Hercules or a Guillemot but your gonna be looking at lots of money. Personnaly i'd go for a Creative. Yeah its not quiet as fast as the other two but it will make up for it in the amount of drivers/updates available.

The Prophet III isn't way outpriced you can get a Hercules Prophet III at www.ebworld.com for only $429.... not bad when most other ones are going in the $400 range anyways... and the Herc board has the 3.8ns RAM... I've noticed some of these boards slip you the 4ns RAM instead.... :(
