This post is to share any info I have or have heard about.
I have been relativly happy with the GeForce 2 gts pro. I am using the detonator drivers with good results. But I have heard that the GeForce does not run well with DX8. Has anybody heard this, and why? And what is up with Open Gl??
I can run Unreal tournament in d3d get 60 fps, switch to OPenGl (and with some tweaking) i can get nearly 600 fps high and a 300 average!?Also I have heard that the GF 550Ti is simply an overclocked 400 ect. I am seriously considering Radeon cards. I have heard that they give more bang for the buck. I have seen them put out a couple hundred frames running D3d in U.T. Seems to me that the Video card industry is kinda lagging compared to CPU's and Mobo's..
