Geil Memory?

Has anyone used the PC 3200 twin 256 mb memory, cas 2, form Geil? This combo is on sale at N>E for 99 bucks. They are showing 6-3-3-1 timings. I am going to use this combo in my A7N8X Deluxe board. This is supposed to be spd enhanced dual channel memory. What kind of performance can I expect? Thanks, Tom.

from what I've heard, and this is just from posts on forums not personal experiance. Geil RAM doesn't go much above spec. That I believe simply because you get what you pay for. I've heard rumors that they test and send reviewers awesome sticks for obvious reasons. I've also heard they might be tied in with OCZ.

When I upgrade I plan on actualy shelling out the cash for mushkin/corsair or similar ultra high end memory. The reason is there is a much better chance for them to do above what thier rated.
If you do order this make sure you talk to the place your ordering from and make sure they'll accept a RMA if it doesn't do advertised speeds.
