Get cardio exercise and continue typing POSSIBLE!

Can you exercise and write an essay , can you exercise and continue to instant message people, can you exercise and play games (well havent incorporated my wireless mouse yet ).

Trust me this gives a relistic feel to that first person shooter. When you walk in the game peddle slowly, run? peddle faster, i know its chessy but since i moved into the basement i have MORE ROOM loads actually to much! 4 couches, my computer desk, 2 tvs, 1 ancient TV, alot of older toys my stereo, my universal gym, freeweightlifting bench rowing machine and exercise bike which i moved near the computer!

Sorry for the crappy picture, BUt im still fixing up the basement and there was no one to hold the camera so i balanced it on a couple cans of coke

I live in a 9'x11' tiny cell full of strange and wonderous items that scare the hell out of me! lol, no i have very little room, BUT i have a window AC that cools like a mother!, and the temps that i get, or was getting until my rig was stolen!.. was realy good. on a tornado at low speed i was getting in the neighbor hood of 29-35C on a SP-97. not bad eh?

oh and by the way I have no effin clue on what the hell you wanted me to post so i just rambeled.... Maybe i should just shut up.....Just maybe.....aw hell.......

the faster you pedal, the faster you run.

there a program out, that does this stuff for you? you say, plug it into a PS2 port, and the pedals read how fast you pedal, and it sends that speed info into the game, to let you know how fast to move?

If you got a program like that, then its just a modified Controller Driver. and if you did, where did you get it.

now if you did wiring work and all, tell us how you did this. that would be pretty cool.

we have an AIR bike, that when you pedal, the front of is is a big metal fan (enclosed in a cage ) faster you pedal, the faster the fan moves, meaning, more air will blow, and alot of air can blow right on you. i could hook up the wires in it ( it has a Display on it, to tell you speed, calories burned, distance...etc..) and hook it up myself.

that would get me some exercise, because i know i need it. and the only way i'd really get exercise, is if it is configured with a computer game.

Damn i cant believe someone stole it. Ya my room wasnt exactly small it was cozy but it just got to damn hot with my rig in there, especially now in the summer, the basement is always COLD!!! so perfect.

This is exactly what i meant, however i wonder if i could wire that in lol. Even tho a treadmill will be more accurate

Thats awesome. Lets see It would be a ton easier to just have a bi-directional switch thing instead of a variable bi-directional thing.

If you were to have a wheel attached an axle (which could more freely) then the axle attached to some very weak shock aborbers then the end of the shock absorber strongly attached to a (ahh what are they called? the ones that have a little metal rod that flips up and down) <-- one of those switches, then that wired to the control panel of a keyboard, it just might work
