I bought an Iwill for a Pentium MMX system a few years ago. The board was crap. It was full of bugs and crashed randomly. Soyo and Micronics are the best boards I have ever owned. FIC was also below expectations, but worked well for the first few months. DFI was cheap, but that was about it. The only board I have only used an overclocked processor on was the Soyo. Even when overclocked running an Athlon Tbird 700 to 900 Mhz, the board is still rock solid. I also like Soyo because when the heatsink holder on the socket snapped off (this was not Soyo's fault, I later realized that I improperly removed the heatsink), Soyo replaced my motherboard for free. I will always be loyal to Soyo, unless they start making crap boards.

Ruf, 2 or 3 years ago Iwill made marginal boards at best. They have recently improved their QC and R&D depts. by leaps and bounds. They new Iwill boards are rock solid, if you do have a problem, they respond quickly and fix it. These boards rule.

I have to agree with DA Whip I have had zero problems with my iWillKK266 I have been overclocking since the day I got it up and running and it has exceeded my expectations.

I was a first time computer builder about 2 months ago. Besides the normal problems associated with all KT133 based chipsets, this board has been great. Once I troubleshooted those minor problems, this board has been super stable. Well worth the 125 it cost me. I have absolutely no regrets about going with the Iwill and highly recommend it to others.

Iwill really has gotten their act together. I now have three Iwill boards, and as Junglist notes, while not perfect..thay have shown themselves to be fast, stable performers.

FWIW, I have two ver. 1.1s, and one ver. 1.2

pltguy, which of the myriad of BIOSes are you using, and at what bus speed did you achieve those memory marks?

One more Q, I noticed that you're using the RAID board, if you are using an 'unofficial' BIOS, is it available for the non-RAID flavor of the KK266?

TIA,

T

Im using the Luckydaze moded 0515 bios with a rev 1.2 board. The memory benchs are at 159 full maxed out settings. Here is a pic of 167 FSB with slower settings
and here is some CPU Info.
