We are still chasing not one but two teams. NVIDIA (1.5 months) and EVGA (3.8 years). The #5 spot looks like it's a long ways away but we have to get the #6 spot first and that is getting really close to happening. We are presently seeing a slump and with the intense heat across the nation, it's going to be difficult to recover that daily point lose for a while. Official summer is here. There was no "warm up". We've been getting heat dumped on us for a while.

T32 in the world top 100/200:
@HayesK is #20.
@WhitehawkEQ is #31.
@Holdolin is #42.
@HayesK is #54.
@dfonda is #60.

@torin3 , @P4EE, @orion456 , @Farwalker2u , @Machaholic and @don256us round out the top 200.

The team is showing fewer active members. We are down to 46. on the plus side, we do have a brand new addition to the team. @Scoots_Fowler has jumped in and is earning good points. :welcome: Scoots. In the last 7 days, he's only moved up 1,199 spots. 19 of those just in the last 24 hours. Enjoy this. The higher up you go the slower this progress becomes. WOOT!

Team top earners:
Top 24 are earning 1 million ppd or more. So better than half of the current active team.
Top 10 are earning 10 million ppd or more. About 1/4 of the team.
Top 8 are earning 20 million ppd or more. About 1/6th. Okay. So I started this thing about the 1/2, 1/4 and 1/6th so far but I'm moving from doing these in my head to pulling up the calc app to figure it out. Nuts to that. Going forward without fractions thank you very much. ;)
Top 7 are earning 30 million ppd or more. Yeah. Do that fraction in your head. :comp:
Top 6 are earning 40 million ppd or more.
Top 4 are earning 60 million ppd or more.
Top 2 are earning 70 million ppd or more.
Top 1 is.... wait. I think I need to clean my glasses. Hold on a moment. ... ... Yep. Un huh. WOW! 327 million ppd and some change. I see that production is slumping back down to around 200 million but either way.... WOW! Just WOW!

Individual movement and milestones:
@ffsmith20 has moved up 126 spots.
@Belnarlo has moved up 10 spots.
@Scoots_Fowler has moved up 1,199 spots. Worth the second mention.
@Reconsnake has moved up 63 spots.
@folding_monkeys has moved up 5 spots.

@Reconsnake has earned his first 100 million! WOOT! The first one is the best one. Go get your next 100 million friend.

@Scoots_Fowler just earned 20 million.
@JetEngineMech just earned 20 million.

Annnnnndddddd...... that's it for the week. If I missed something (and I'm likely to have missed something) please post it below.

Stay cool an well hydrated as you move about outside. Watch for storms and killer bees.

Until next week:
Build, Borg, Recruit.

Looking good everyone! I think a lot of the drop in PPD is WU related vs just heat related. We're down a few million PPD over the last week or so, all of @KeeperOfTheButch 's cards are running at stock while he's up here in WI, but that doesn't account for all of it. I started seeing some new wus while going through my logs but haven't hashed everything out yet to see what's up.

Congrats to @WhitehawkEQ on taking 2nd place back, make sure you keep our spot warm for us 😉 We've been a bit busy lately, and @KeeperOfTheButch is getting married tomorrow, but we'll be coming for #2 again soon 😁

Great folding everyone!

Great folding everyone!
It will be Sept or Oct before I become serious about PPD again. Gonna shut down and shuffle a couple GPU's this week.

Hello! Long time listener, first time caller here. Been lurking around for more than 20 years. Came here beginning in late 90's/early 2000's for info on monkeying with bios settings on locked intel cpus, back before hyperthreading was introduced. My career choice meant travel for the last two decades, so little to no time to really enjoy computers as a hobby. Im closer to home most days, and technology has vastly improved while ive been away. I discovered cheap intel nuc's with multi-core cpus, and thought I could make a dent in folding@home for not a lot of cost in electricity. I ended up with twenty four nuc's, varying in power draw on the cpu from 6watts to 64watts, as these processors are mainly designed for laptops and low power draw. Disappointed with the resulting performance of a combined 26 computers, 94 physical cores, 176 logical cores, I found what some or all of you already know; gpus are the way to go, their simultaneous processing power greatly exceeds what a farm of cpus can do for this type of project. So, in answer to your question, I'm now running one 4070 and one 4070 super. I keep the nuc farm rolling, until they die or I need the space or power to run additional gpus.

Crazy how the PPD is a pretty good bump from a 4060 to a 4070! (Ie my 3 GPUs to your two, and your 3mil more than I)… But x2 of my GPUs are at work so PPD/watts are not that big of an issue to me 😅😎
Also, @Norcalsteve - is your username in reference to northern california? If so, Im in Norcal as well, just north of Sac to be specific.
Indeed! I haven’t lived there since I joined the Army (now retired)… left in Jul 2001! Grew up in Livermore/East Bay… SF Giants/9ers for life! 😆 Ended up settling down here in the FL Panhandle when I got out.

For those that need or want Cat6 cables, I have 2 spools of cable, I can make in any length and how many you want with strain relief boots.
