I am getting rid of the asus rig in my sig. I need some advice on how to sell it. Should I try to sell the whole system (tower, lcd, keyboard, mouse, etc...), or is it easier and/or more lucrative to part it out? I think I built it almost a year ago for around $1,500, and I would like to get at least half of that.

Well if you have a friend or someone you know that wants to buy it as a whole, then definitely that'll be easier. It'll be much easier to sell it as a whole, since less effort on your part. But then not many people will prefer buying it as a whole, you'll have better luck selling it by parts, might even make more money selling it by parts. Try selling it on our classifieds, say that theres a discount if you buy all the parts or something along those lines. But you need 100 posts to be able to access classifieds.

Yes, I have a little more work to do here before I can post on the classifieds. I thought I would have luck on ebay, but it seems like most similar pc's use onboard sound, cheaper gpu's and are generally more affordable. Parting it out may be my best solution. Thanks.

BTW - Where can I check on my post count?

Edit: foundit - public profile
It's seems the CIA and OCforums are both tracking my internet activity.

Just click your username on one of your posts and choose view public profile. If you just need to know if you can access the classifieds though, you can tell that by looking at the stars under your name. You need 3 stars to access the classifieds section here...
