gf 4 440se

im running a aopen gf4 440. got all the updates drivers and the bios updates for the mobo. so when i log on to a web page like here in about 5mim i get a white screen with faded blue lines??? have to reboot it. in setting for card its in pci mode not 4x agp any help ty

When you say, "got all the updates drivers and bios updates", did you also get the latest VIA Hyperion Drivers?

yes. and it still well fade out to a white screen with blue lines

Does this only happen with web pages or will it happen with games and stuff too?

Go into your BIOS and set the card to AGP mode (if it's an AGP card of course).

web and games in bios it is set at agp 4x card is still at pci mode what if i go and clear cmos and relode the drivers would that help

You can try doing that too...also, just for the heck of it take the card out and reseat it....

nope no good still in pci mod well i tryed all i can think of thanks for the help must be the card





edit o got mine at newegg ppl dont get the aopen 440 this is the second card from them still no good

so the card is in an AGp slot, but being picke dup as a PCi card?
