GF3 Ti200 or ATI 8500???

I need a new card and need to stay around $150US area, for the most part this includes the GF4 440MX(POS), GF3 Ti200 or ATI 8500 (NO LE version).

I've seen some bench marks but really wanted to know which one of the two is better (GF3 or 8500) and if ya'll think its worth upgrading from my gf2 ultra (which is impossible to find a comparison between).... Thanks!

While the both cards are quite a bit faster than the Geforce2 i dont think its really worth it until Unreal2 comes out...i would save your money and get a better card then.....though out of those choices the 8500 is defintely better....

with the quality of the drivers now for the Radoen8500, and its feature set, that is the one to go with, just make sure you get a retail version 275/275.. if you go for a LE 250/250 you can oc it to retail speeds, but no gurantee..

i agree go with the 8500 but like others said hold off for a bit and as the geforce 4 4600 dominates the market all other cards will drop in price bigtime and the performance on those other cards still rock
