I feel bad that you can't use that card.System was running perfect Yesterday and This Morning !!
Did a manual Shutdown to install some G 1/4" pass thrus in the chassis !!!
Upon starting backup the previous no video signal symptoms returned.
Flashed to latest Beta Bios from Gigabyte Support Site Bios Dated June 6th 2024

Theres a quick snapshot of the BIOS Screen Plugin Devices PCIe
Its easy to determine the 4080 GPU is not detected.
in the primary PCIe x16 slot i installed a PCIe x 1 Network adapter and it was detected by the bios 1st boot.
installing the 4080 back in place the bios again is as above with N/A nothing detected.
As an alternate gpu isnt available at the moment , ill have to arrainge and try the 4080 in a different system.
Whys that?I feel bad that you can't use that card.

Thats great!!!!!swapped PSU and gave her the old cut main power from the wall while running test.

I've contacted Cougar Gaming Support about starting an RMA , waiting for a reply from their specific department.Anyone have experience with Cougar PSU and RMA?
So... what was it? The board or cpu?
Thanks, I was only kinda joking but now, hmmm? That's supposed to be a solid unit. I'm really surprised it didn't do a better job of protecting your gear. Namely your old MB.
