System was running perfect Yesterday and This Morning !!

Did a manual Shutdown to install some G 1/4" pass thrus in the chassis !!!

Upon starting backup the previous no video signal symptoms returned.
Flashed to latest Beta Bios from Gigabyte Support Site Bios Dated June 6th 2024

Theres a quick snapshot of the BIOS Screen Plugin Devices PCIe
Its easy to determine the 4080 GPU is not detected.

in the primary PCIe x16 slot i installed a PCIe x 1 Network adapter and it was detected by the bios 1st boot.
installing the 4080 back in place the bios again is as above with N/A nothing detected.

As an alternate gpu isnt available at the moment , ill have to arrainge and try the 4080 in a different system.

Further troubleshooting produced the ASUS 4080 booting without effort in the alternate system/build. Note was that the gpu power connector was an adapter 3 x pcie 8pin to 12vhpwr connector.

Back to the build of this thread . Removed the 12vhpwr standard connector from the power supply and used the 3 x 8pin pcie express adapter cable.

A month ago the build had a psu swapped that had a native 12vhpwr connector that was in use.
The system again appears restored reverting back to pcie adapter

Update:
To further accelerate trouble shooting , i cut 110 volt main power from the wall while the system was running.
Now im at full on psu failure. psu wont start up wont complete a mb plug test either

I feel bad that you can't use that card.

swapped PSU and gave her the old cut main power from the wall while running test.
seems restored again

Just updating this thread

I attempted to install a 14700k in the gigabyte aero listed in title to no avail
windows os just bsod and i did not attempt a clean install of OS

promptly rma'd the 14700k
and on return i accompanied the build with a repalcement motherboard

symptoms as described "appear" to have evaporated.

Tks
