hello everybody. I have been reading many articles and reviews i must say this wonderful site. I thank you for this. however I am a first time overclocker and am interested in the capability of my mobo a :Gigabyte GA-8SIMLH Motherboard with an intel pentium 4 1.8GHz processor and a 512 mb of ram (PC2100 184 pin) along with an ati 7500 video card which i am upgrading to either a 9600 or 9800 on boxing day. ne way does this system I have have, have ne potential for even a slight overclock and if so can u give me acouple pointers. I wish to thank you wonderful people in advance. thanks,

It will OC. I dont see a AGP/PCI lock so, its hard to say how far it can go. If it doesnt have AGP/PCI lock in bios, you might want to be carefull. That would mean that it will overclock everything then. ( hdds, video card, pci cards, etc... )

I dont know if it works on that board, but some will open more advanced features by pressing "CTRL+F1" in the main BIOS screen. You might find some stuff in there. Hope this helps some. Good luck.

Edit: after downloading the manual, it looks like it has adjustable AGP/PCI buses. If you can set these to 66/33 you should be ok. I would just worry about memory bus then. That will depend on the memory you have.
