Can anyone tell me how I can overclock my
GA-6VM7A+ Gigabyte motherboard. I've got a Celeron 700 and I would like to overclock it but I think it's currently being auto detected giving me no way to overclock it. Anyone got some tips on this?

look in the manual, it should mention some things about changing your Core Voltage and Front Side Bus settings. Your bios should have an option to let the user define the cpu. You can go from there!!

PS, here is how your speed is calculated

Multiplier(Fixed with an Intel) * Front Side Bus = CPU Speed

Example 10.5 * 66 = 693(round to 700) This is what you have Now overclocking we can

10.5 * 75 = 788
10.5 * 83 = 871.5
10.5 *100 = 1050

You will probably have to up your voltage to get to the gigahertz mark, don't go too far, stay under 1.9 volts if possible. Also, make sure you have a good cooler, you can get a stable system at 871(see my sig) with the retail, but you will not get higher. When I get my new heatsink, I am going for a gig. So good luck to you, and hope this helps!

i own a GA-60XM7E-1 and I am also looking for some info on changing the fsb I just bumped the core voltage to 1.95v and rock steady at 808mhz but im looking for the 900 mark this board has places for jumpers to set the fsb but were never installed from the factory http://www.hardocp.com/articles/intel_stuff/bumpvoltage.html
this is the address to you to bump the core voltge and yes it does work i went from1.7 to 1.9 with this

Gigabyte Mobo's are notoriously poor for OC features... That is all I know about Gigabyte boards.

The way OC any Intel CPU is to up the System Bus. Upping the Voltage (provided you have sufficient cooling) helps sometimes...
