I have only read one review of the Dragon Orb. It performed well, they had it trailing the CAK-38 and the SK-6 in temps on an overclocked 800 Athlon so not bad, but I think the Glaciator would beat it by 2C and put itself just behind the SK-6 and just ahead of the CAK38.

I would bet If you put it on a real processor in the 1.2 range that cooler would perform bad compaired to the glaciator...And as for the SK6 There is no way it compaires

One webmaster will be passing me a dragon orb for review soon, and I should be able to do some test with it. The Glaciator is 0.26C/W in my test so it will be interesting to see what the dragon orb comes out with.

Stay tuned.

all I know is that when my glaciator arrived in the mail and the ups guy handed my the box. my arm bout hit the ground. This thing weighs a ton!! scaling in at approx 1.7 lbs. Thats one big hunk of copper.

LOL! It's still an orb. I seriously doubt it will cool even close to as well as the Glaciator.

It's an orb. Thermaltake is still focusing more on looks than on something piratical. The majority of reviews I read on it say it's a mediocre cooler at best. Nothing fancy and too loud for as good as it cools. Orb's are still noting but eye candy, if your serious about cooling the Dorb is not it. There are better copper based HSFs out there.
