i just picked up these two items and was going to install them on to my system not relising that the heatsink clip might be to small. what can i do. pls help
 
Hmm, tough one. Have you got any basic metalworking facilities to make your own strap with? If you can't, you'll have to buy one - I don't know whether the dangerden holddown would work, if you cut the nylon bolt down so it didn't interfere with the fan. It's a great clip, at least for my waterblock, and it ought to hold your globalwin and pelt fine. Have you got a coldplate as well?

 
Use a rubber "O ring" and strap the heatsink down with it. You can also try twisty ties, and zip ties, but they don't look as good.
