I recently bought a TAK68 and I saw from the box that it has a 4 pin molex connector and a 3 pin connector. Although it is obvious that I need to connect the 4 pin molex to its counterpart in the PSU, I was just wokdering if its ok to connect the 3 pin connector to the mobo. Please advise. Thanks! -- seal

On that fan it will work fine. Some Mobo's don't have an open 3-pin connector. That is why they give you the adapter. It is not a good idea to plug any large fans, such as the deltas, in to the 3-pin, because it could fry the mobo.
