going to upgrade to 1800+. What batches overclock the best/highest

I am going to be buying a new 1800+. Is there a certaint batch, code, type that I should try to get for overclocking??? I am using the ASUS A7N266-E motherboard. The rest of the specs are listed in my system profile below. Also any advice on how to overclock/unlock an 1800+ would be greatly appreciated.

Normally I wouldnt recommend this a main thing to do but I WOULD definately wait for the T-bred XP1900 processor to come late this month, early next month.

The XP1900 will hit 2GHz+ on air and will run alot cooler than the older palominos.

Where can I read info on this new processor and what is it expected to cost. I will check AMD's websight for now. I have about $160 to play that I will be receiving in trade. The rest of the cost I will have to dig deep for. Thanx. CHEERS!!

XP-1700 @ 1627 - 1.775 Vcore
Will probably to 1700. I just need better cooling.

Well it's official. My 1800+ is on it's way to our shop. It should be here on Monday. 3-11-02. Now in the meantime I need to find out all that I can about it. And what is "stepping???" I have never heard the term. I just hope that it is worth $142. I will wait till the T-Bred's come out and hit at least 2.5Gig and drop in price to consider that upgrade. And for now "BURN, BABY, BURN!!!!!!!
