Golden computer

That got your attention didn't it.

I really need some help with my computer (its not gold).
When I try to run a 3D game or anything with some Intensity my computer freezes and I have to rest.

At first I thought it was my Graphics card but after trying another card (asus8200) It still dies on me.
Does anybody have any similar stories and answers.

Could it be my mobo which is a rather rubbish ECS K7va.

I have had countless other probs with this board and it wouldn't surprise me.......

Is it overclocked?

IT maybe your CPU Overheating at full load, what are the full load temps. Lockups = Heat

I have tried to get the heat up to see if that is the cause, I manage getting 44.9C full load using cpu test programs and running folding in the background resulting in 100% usage over a short time(5-10mins).

My cooler is a superorb and my system is not overclocked......

Could it be my AGP port?

2 of the memory banks have gone down as well........
