I don't know why, but when I set up windows to allow people to call into my computer by modem (for gaming on games that only support TCPIP), they can only connect to me at 14.4. My modemo is 56K. My phone line here only goes to 28.8 (weep), but still, on my old cely266 with winME, people can dial in at the same speed I connect to the internet to (28.8). I dont know if this is the WinXP Dialup server utility or if it's my modem. Anyway, I need to know if anybody knows any good dialup-server programs.

Another thing I noticed is that when I look at the connection properties when somebody is connected, a whole buns of compressions and weird protocols are used, when all I want is PAP authentication, PPP server and tcp/ip.
