I Just ordered an SP-97(No Fan) and was looking at this fan for it.

26 - 80 CFM @
17 - 47 db

I like the blue stuff :p

Seem ok?

Looks cool to me. I like blue too. Cfm's and noise levels look ok too.

What board are you gonna be using with that sp97? I'm thinking of getting that myself but i've seen some reviews about it barely fitting with certain componets.

NF7-S v2

Looks good, but I doubt it's going to push 26 CFM with only 17dBA. If you don't mind noise and like the way it looks then go for it.

I've got a partial hearing loss, so this may be one of those times when it comes in handy. :p

Well here's the update:

I have no idea if this fan is any good or not.

I ordered it from newegg (cost less) but Newegg screwed up and sent me a regular 120mm case fan.

No problem Newegg gave me a refund RMA for the wrong item they sent. They said to reorder the fan online and call them back with the order number and they would bump it up to overnight at no extra charge.

Only problem today I recieved the new fan from Newegg and they sent the same wrong fan again!!!

So here I sit looking at a pretty new sp-97 and nothing to put on it. Well I guess it will make a nice paper weight for a few days.

It doesn't look like a good choice for a HS, fan to me..The grill with the LED's will restrict flow and cause noise..:D
I forgot your partial hearing loss...Why not get a Tornado or a Delta?
The SP-97 requires a high pressure fan to cool properly..;)

Hearing loss, not deaf :p j/k

This weekend I'll reserch this forum in detail and on Monday order something from someone not named Newegg.

You can use a control device to lessen the noise and speed of those 2 fans..For about $7.00 total..Install a rheostat for the HS, fan..
I have my HS, fan wired to the PSU, via a rheostat..Let me know if you would like to do this! :)

Ummm, is the idea to get rid of the rest of your hearing as soon as possible??

1/2 j/k.
