I have a KT7a Abit and curious what people are using to monitor the temperatures? Are you using the sw that came with the board? Thanks.

Usually no. I use Motherboard moniter 5. It is almost dead on with my BIOS. Sandra is a few degrees lower. I don't have the links handy, but a search at Yahoo will find them.

The VIA HWM program that came with your board is an excellent monitoring program. Much simpler to set up than MotherBoardMonitor, in my opinion. If you play with the position of the thermistor under the CPU, you can get it to read within 1C of the actual core temp. See attached diagram.
