According to Fudzilla, we got some interesting things in the works. First up, DFI is doing a dual x16 crossfire P45 board in mATX format. Yay. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6681&Itemid=1 -now if they'd just do a 780/790i mATX to match I'd be golden. For you ATI guys (or if they release a decent card anytime soon) it's nice to know you have the option..

G45 is shaping up nicely as well, they claim it can decode HD video without needing anything extra. http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6679&Itemid=1

The bad news?

Delayed again..

Still, it's pretty good news for those of us who like smaller machines that still perform big.

My dream board would be hybrid cross-fire with G45. I have no desire to run two cards, or dual GPU's on a single PCB for that matter, but would like the to have the option for the boost of power. Heck it is going to be on the board so I may as well be able to use it.

my c2d board is matx. i used to be against a small board, but at this point I really don't need or use many pci slots. the only card, outside of video, that i have is a gigabit and even then, many boards have that built in.

i couldn't use 4 or 5 pci slots if i tried!
