got my xoxide x-hour CCFL's installed...

Finally, my sun is blazing again! My Walmart neons burned out like 2 weeks after I installed them, and I never got around to getting replacements. Luckily last weeks x-hour scored me two red CCFLs for 9 bucks.

One question though...these are my first CCFLs...they aren't as red as I expected. Maybe cause they're so bright... Anyway, it almost looks like they are white lights and the tubes have red stripes on them...is that how they color CCFLs? I'm not really complaining, but wondering if maybe these are inferior CCFL's???

Just wondering before I go anywhere else to get a green one for one of my boxes...

Every "red" one i have seen have tended to be more pinkish. BUt those look cool to me. The color works with the design

SVC sells red CCFL's that really are red. They're inside a red acrylic tube, which probably helps matters.
