Does any one know if anyone makes gps software and antena(sp?)for laptops?I've been looking at garmin gps units and pdas but would love to be able to use my future laptop as a gps unit in my jeep.

I think with almost any modern GPS handheld unit with the proper cables you can hook it up the seral port on your computer. Then with the right software it will act just as a reciver and display the results on the screen. Same for palm pilots too.
