I know there was a post on shrapnel from a Be Cooling water block awhile back and the suggestion from Hoot was to fill the block with "strong solvent" and let it sit for a few days. The twist on my situation, as I see it, is I have these things both in the block and the radiator. That's not to mention the fact that I've already had my system up and running.

So, now the system is down, I'm going through it, I'm going to acetone the water block for a few days but my question is about the radiator: copper core yes but with aluminum fins so how does one, or DOES one go about safely using solvent (acetone) on the radiator? If not, how do I get the rest of the gradu out of the radiator?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thax.
