Graphic Card's BIOS...

i've got a question... Where is the default clock speed set for a GPU ? is it bulit into the GPU or is it in the Graphic cards BIOS?
If it is in the BIOS it would eb possable to change it and OC through the BIOS right ?

yes in fact at www.guru3d.com i believe they have tools to oc by changing bios values for nvidia cards, also RivaTuner uses the bios to overclock...

the best place for video bios modifications and relationed stuff on web is here. the problem is that the site sometimes seems to be down, but you can find the most recent stuff and information down there.
and yes, its easily possible to overclock the card permanently by editing its BIOS. and other stuff like adding words or even logos to the post splash screen.
