Hi, I have H100 with Push/pull config. i7 950 @ 4.4ghz 192*23 - 1.382v

My temps after 3 hours on Prime torture test were :

Core 1 - 74 Max - 71 Avg
Core 2 - 71 Max - 69 Avg
Core 3 - 71 Max - 68 Avg
Core 3 - 70 Max - 67 Avg

I have RAM @ 1924mhz or something so my QPI is 1.4-1.425(not sure if this is relevant)

My Room temp must be about 24-28 degrees as my gf has heating on...:blah:

Do you think these temps are ok for a gaming OC profile? I don't use HT.

I run my RAM @ 1333 and CPU at 3.2 HT for Day use.

You should probably turn HT on, free performance and you have the thermal headroom to handle it.

Looks fine to me. Throwing in HT may indeed cause you to be a bit less stable at 4.4ghz. But assuming 1.4v + HT. You'd still have absolute max temps below 85 I believe. (Which is fine.. Though below 80 is best). But if gaming and general use is all you do that'd be fine anyway! (If you render things, or use it at 100% ever, consider lowering it..)

IMO 4.2ghz with HT on > 4.4ghz with HT Off. I run 1.25v at 4ghz myself.. I considered upping my OC to 4.5 or so turning off HT... But then why own a i7 processor? ;)

I dropped a multiplier to 22 from 23 and upped blk to 196.5 - Better RAM speed and still 4.32ghz + HT - I have it at 1 increment lower than 1.4v atm and it seems ok but temp max is 82 so far :p

I did do 4.4 HT and it hit 83 in the first 3 mins. So am going to try and lower V as much as possible while Rock stable :p even if its 1 degree less.
