Half-Life uninstall = Games dir destruction ??

Ive always woundered if Im the only one that when I uninstall HalfLife from my computer, it takes out my whole Game dir ?
I remembered that a while ago after I uninstalled HL from my game dir ... it uninstalled allright ... with all of my game dir which then had around 4 games ... wtf is it ? is that a bug or wtf is going on ...
