Hi, I have some questions on internal Hard drives.

My system is a asus P4P-800 deluxe ,XP pro 32 bit OS.

I was thinking of adding a second hard drive, but don't know what the size limits are ?

it is sata 2 capable.

Any ideas ?

Thanks, HammerHeadHank

2 TB is the size limit of your 32-bit operating system. You can put as many of these drives in as your motherboard can support.

as long as you have a least service pack one on that xp install you should be able to use any sata hdd with a limit of 2tb on partitions

It isn't because the OS is 32bit, but because Microsoft didn't choose to support GPT. And it is a total of 2TB for the entire drive, not per partition.
