Hey all,
windows prompted me saying that my hard drive had a disk error and to back up all files immediatly. i did a disk check, and its all finished.
rebooted and windows said same thing again.
Is my hard drive ruined?
Is there anything i can do?
Drive is 1tb segate maybe a month or two old.
Thanks.

check your system event log and see if you're seeing disk errors/timeout. If you are seeing a lot of them, go get a new drive and start ghosting from the old to new IMMEDIATELY. Generally by the time an ATA drive started reporting errors, the drive is on its last leg.
