Howdy all, not sure whether to post here or in the laptop forum, but anyhow, My friend found an HP Pavilion ZV5000 laptop that someone took out the hdd and threw it away.
Anyhow, The guy is on a fixed income, so his options are few and far between. I told him that he needed a PATA hdd, and he ended up with a SATA drive and decided to keep it as an external to hook up via USB, so now he will need to wait til next month to find a PATA drive for the lappy.
I haven't had much time to myself lately so I haven't really looked and from what I have seen there aren't many large (capacity wise) pata drives to be had for +- $60.00.
I figure he should be happy if he can find one in the 100gb range.
