has anyone use simpletech memory? its cheap and fast at least as far as they advertise it is.

I have one stick of it in this machine, along with one stick of kingston. both pc2100 running at 166, and they play well together. This board being an A7V600, which is very picky on ram.

oh well that sound like one good strick toward simpletech. im thinking of getting a stick of there pc4000 along with a mobile 2600.

They look amazing, just bear in mind that you've got a very small chance of getting good speeds out of high speed modules on AthlonXP systems. Low latency, low speed memory is almost always optimal for them.

i have simple in both my rigs pc4000 in one 3500 in the other .my 4000 does 266 and 3500 does 240 so it rocs for me ,great mem!!!.

im not an expert so please feel free to explain... :)
The Simpletech memory is made for motherboards that can handle the high speeds it offers. Your NF7 will probably top out at about 240 tops, and won't be able to utilize the potential of those sticks. Furthermore, those sticks aren't capable of running very tight latencies, so you actually need very high speeds from them for good performance. Good PC3200 or PC3500 is what's optimal for your system.

you can run the mem on my board at specs that are above the fsb.so i can get the top of the mem and it will run at cas 2 at higher setting.
