Different proteins take different lengths of time to complete - ie ProtienAs take ages, GNRA harpins not as long. This is to make things fair - ie some people may flush out the hard ones so that they can complete loads of the easy ones.

Well, I don't quite have that problem, I've got 19 wu's done for 55.6 points, I've also noticed that I've got the highest amount of points for amount of wu's done. (what a problem, huh)

Some of the proteins were done in very short times. Can't remember how long, but there's a thread with all the times and most of the points. Some of the proteins were only being scored .3 and .6 points because they went so quickly.
