Having Serious XP MSN Problems

Hi guys, anyone been having problems with getting into any of their MSN Passport websites? I have been loggin in and get nothing but a File not found each time for about 7 days now, and I can get on MSN Messanger but can't get into my Hotmail, and I have a very important email coming in and I need it. So anyone have any idea what is going on and why I'm getting this, along with my freind who uses Chinese XP? Has microsoft done something to one of the service packs to screw up XP??? i can't even use Netscape to log on, it tells me I'm not connected on my high speed??? what is going on... i'm lost on this one guys, could really use some help. i'm just going to install win98se on my secondary hard drive and boot into that. thanks for letting me vent

Haven't had any problems here using XP and MSN.....try clearing out your temporary internet files folder and cookies.

Can you access other sites okay?

Well i cleaned out my temp and cookies and bang i'm up and going again, not sure why though. i was using tweak-xp and custimiser xp and reboot then back in i went... weird

LOL, at work ( I tech support for MSN) thats always the FIRST thing we do for browsing problems. Dont ask me why it works exactly, but it does. Sometimes a cookie thats storing the password gets coorrupted i guess.

I was having trouble getting into MSN - tried later on in the day and it worked. I can't remember if I rebooted or not tho.

Thats what we in the tech support business call a "server issue" and tell you to wait 24 hours

Maybe use Trillian instead, its a hell of a lot better, it connects to msn, icq, aol, yahoo
