Can someone please give me some pointers to my problem? Solutions on Google didn't help...

On one of my machines, I use ATI HD4670 on Win 7. Problem is, I get a blank screen playing DVDs on WMP, but the audio works. However everything works fine on FLV player, so it *should* be a codec problem? Also on WMP, some MKV files will work, but some won't

I have tried (to no avail):
  • K-lite and shark007 codec-packs but same thing happens.
  • Drivers 8.12, 9.6, 9.7 and 9.10.
  • Both 32bit and 64bit versions of Win7
  • Onboard video ONLY (which suggests this is an ATI issue?)
  • Funny thing is, if I uninstall the ATI drivers and swap a 8800GTS into the PC, video works fine in WMP!

Again any help/pointers/comments are welcome

Machine Configuration:
AMD P-II X4 940
790GX + SB750 (IGP disabled in BIOS)
2 x 2GB DDR2-800

OK, this only happens with Win 7 RC. With the RTM version, everything works fine!
