I found out yesterday I have 3 blockages in my heart, 1 of those blockages formed it's own bypass, but looks like I may have to have surgery. I'm not scared but not looking forward to it ether, just hope it goes good.

Holy Cow! Be well. My step father had his heart removed from his body while they installed a pigs valve and he was home in a week. I had a surgeon go up through my groin to kill off a number of extra nerves that caused poor heart rhythms and went home the same day. Medical science is great so if I were to bet, I'd put my money on a quick and safe recovery. Heck, my co-worker had a "widow maker" heart attack, died for 15 minutes. The Damned Dr's brought him back and he is still terrorizing me to this day. We tease him that he should have taken bereavement time for his own death.

I'll keep you in my thoughts WhiteHawk. Bypass is a fairly common procedure these days so you shouldn't be too concerned. It is still a pretty serious issue so some trepidation is expected.

Certainly wishing you well from here. I look forward to reading your posts about how it turned out to be no big deal for years to come.

Always surprising when a dose of reality creeps into our world. Best of luck heading your way from here!!

One of my golf buddies went in for a triple bypass late last year.

He was home from the hospital in 3 days, and golfing again in 6 weeks. He even felt it was necessary to pull up his shirt and show me his scar (WAYYYY to much information on that one.)

Medical science has come a long way.

Good luck!

Sir Whitehawk, so when are you getting yours done? The surgery I mean, not the photoshoot. :cheers:Here's to hopping you recover quickly and ultra speedily. It's just like flushing a pump in your custom loop, except yours is super custom and liquid is colored red:D
