I recently bought a Gigabyte GA-6OXM7E. Since I bought it I've been having overheating issues to the point where the board locks up. I Already returned another board that was DOA. Im running a PIII 866Mhz and 256MB PC133 memory. Any Idea what can be causing this problem.

What are your cpu and mb temps? Cant really give you any suggestion without knowing these parameters. Just make sure your fan and heatsink work properly is the first thing I would do.

Don't know MB Temp., but my CPU starts at 80c which is crazy!!!. It keeps going up on 1c every 3 sec or so. Have never waited long enough for it to go highr then 85c. When I turn PC off the CPU its not even warm. I think its the MB, but this is the second one I get from the vendor. I also tried a second 866Mhz and the same thing happened..These CPUs work fine on friends Asus CUSL2-C. Could it be faulty power supply or its just the mobo.
