I am having some problems with my 800 Tbird and A7v board. At one time I had no problems running it at 950 But in the past month I have had lockups, reboots , vid and sounds problems. I have tried to downgrade the bios to an early ver But it didnt seem to help me. Also I wondered how far can I take this chip and have it be stable. Any help would be great.
Also whats the normal temp for this chip to run?

Sys Specs:
Asus A7v Build 1.02
T-Bird 800 - Has been to 950 @1.85 Vol
Alpha Heatsick and fan
256Mb Of kingmax pc150
Geforce 2 mx 64mb

Try redoing your L1 bridges again. The conductivity of the graphite could have degraded over time. Could also be wear and tear of your chip due to the stress from overclocking. Are you able to run stable at default clock speed?

Yes It runs Really good at the normal clock speed, I tried a couple differnt bios`s and didnt seem to want to overclock at 950 and be stable anymore, The Hsf is on correct and no really heat problems.
I also has a Duron 700 and wondered it that would be a better overclocker.
