I'm new to ATI. So i have some dumb questions.

I know someone who is selling modded 9500 for $200. Good Deal? I have seen you guys say to buy the FIC 9700.

Whats the difference between 9500 and 9700? And pro vs non pro.

What about brands, does it matter? OEM, retail ,Sapaire.

Which ones support DX9 and have 8x agp?

I know its a lot of questions but i really appriciate your help because i'm totall lost

Thanks

Chad

To your first question Get the FIC 9700
9700 9500 pro and non pro are the same card use the same core just the 9500 Pro is just a 9700 NP with 128bit memory instead of the 256 bit of the 9700 and 9700 pro. The the 9500 NP is the same as the 9500 Pro but uses only 4 pipe lines instead of 8.

As far as brands no dont matter just OEM you dont get a box or any extra stuff just the drivers. Retail you get a box and extra stuff. As far as brands all about the same but Powercolor just stay away from them unless its a 9800pro the other makers just use different memory.. They are all DX 9 cards with 8X.
