Help!! Core_78

Added -advmethods it downloaded new core. Will not fold.
Error: core_78 produced error and will be closed- starts fine (100% cpu usage) never makes progress before error (works a long time tho) rebooted while making this post. Relax overclocking?
O yea dumped core and downloaded again too

Does the CPU pass prime? Relax your OC, that is very likely the problem.

I've never run it before, am doing so now. On test 16. Will it show errors during test? I'm losing valuable folding time but guess you gotta do it. BTW temp went to 51. usually about 41 running F@H. Vc is at 1.85 bumped it .05 before starting prime95. problem is my old VC matrox. I can't lock pci bus and it only works well @100/33 or 133/33 so hard to get it running well @ other speeds.
How long a time will it take running prime95 stable to be reasonible that it will run the gromacs core?

Yeah, Prime really takes your CPU temp to another level, that's normal.. 24 hrs is how long your supposed to run it with no errors.. as far as losing folding time, your P4 will fold about 65% faster doing the Gromacs anyway, so think of it that way.. Is that 1.85 on a P4? Its your choice but I've seen a few guys burn out their chips that high, just be careful..

A 1.5 GHz ran core 65 fine at 2GHz but not the gromacs.
I see your point I lightened up on the mem and clocked down to 1700ish ran prime a couple hours. Then went to folding.
I think 200 over should be fine I think those G macs will test it for me . temp is 41 folding g macs

Sorry can't help you there. Sis is 41 and has 3 kids. She's got a dynamic personallity and intellegent though.
Shes got a daughter 18 but then I'd hafta kill ya sooooo better not hook ya up!
