I have around $175-200 to spend on a video card. Should I buy the 9500pro or the 9600pro? I can get a Built by ATi 9600pro for $190. I also like how the 9600pro doesn't require extra power. But is it worth paying the extra $15 for? There is a FIC 9500pro on newegg for $175. Which should I get?

But I'm willing to spend the extra money and not have to "get lucky" with the possibility of getting one thats able to be modded. I'm just trying to see what I should get between the 9600pro and 9500pro.

id spend a tad extra for $229 at newegg the fic9700np is the best deal running.mine runs 9800pro speeds and drivers.

id go with a 9600pro myself.but i havent read much into its ocability yet.soon ati will catch on and try and stop some ocing as they have by using locked bioses.

nay, its a new .13 core with massive overclockability but lacks of the memory bus and 4 extra pipelines the r9700 has... i would still get the r9700np over it...

Alright, I may look into the 9700np a little more. I would definately choose it over the 9500 or 9600 but I need to find a good buy...

the prices are already down, they wont drop much more in a near future, maybe until next top end card so if you want a card now you can buy it now
