Ok I'm going to "attempt" to build my own water cooling system for my barton 2500. These are the parts I've narrowed it down to (not much variety as I live in canada) I want to use 1/2'' id tubing and I want it to be a quiet. Any help on what parts to get would be appreciated

CPU wb: swiftech mcw6002-a, tdx, or rdx

Pump: Mcp600, mcp650, mcp350, and eheim 1048.

Rad/hc: http://www.e-compuvision.com/shop/?...&category_id=c086d8894a13b1cc088d78a1c8e30470

if this hc isnt good enuff Ill try to find something at an auto parts store around my house.

I would ditch that rad for a 2-302 or 2-342, Both are all copper(unlike that Alu heatercore) I've got no athority to say that those cores are less restrictive than that one, but they sure as heck are cheaper. ^_^ (2-302 is ~$17.99 USD)

As he said ^^. You would be better off getting a core for a 77' bonneville and modding it. Its simple to do and doesnt take much time. Itll work better than the one you posted a link to as well as it will be cheaper.

Don't forget your T line and such.

You'll also need a T fitting and tubing, and start looking for a cap for the end of the tube.

Ok Ill try to find a heater core locally, but what about the cpu wb? I'm pretty much set on the mcp350 as it is the most silent.

You are missing what can sometimes be a key point. A 2-302 is the heatercore for a 77' Bonneville WITH air conditioning. Sometimes that makes all the differance....

Well I wouldn't use the Eheim 1048 cause it doesn't have very high flow(it's like 150 GPH). I also wouln't use that rad :eh?: Go for a heatercore or a Black Ice Xtreme or Black Ice Xtreme-2.

Mississauga, Ontario here (45 mins from Toronto)

What kind stores can I get one of those heater cores from?

CanadianTire , Napa , John's auto parts. Look in teh yellow pages , I live in Brampton like 20 min from mississauga :p SquareOne owns :)

ok I'm going with the lucite tdx, eheim 1048, 1/2'' idclearflex, hc w/ 2 silverstone 120mm fans. I want to build my own res but do u constantly have to fill resevoirs up with water or is it like a t-line which is air tight? cause I dont want to keep refilling my system every week or so.

is the ddc that much better than the eheim 1048 or 1250? cause its going to cost me $102 for the mcp350, and like $50-60 for the eheims.
