Hello! Long-time reader, first-time poster.

So here's the deal. I'm attempting to build a budget gaming machine (around $500-$600) for my 13-year old brother. It'd be his first 'real' computer (not a hand-me-down) and it's my first time building a computer. We plan on assembling the thing together.

I'm pretty sure everything's compatible but I wanted to double-check with this awesome community. Also, since it's a budget machine, I was trying to allow for high upgradability.
a) Will the mobo support an upgrade from a SATA II HHD to a SATA III SSD?
b) Is the mobo suitable for 'more advanced' upgrading? Such as multi-gpu set-ups, overclocked everything, etc.
c) Is there enough cooling? 3 fans come with the case and 1 fan comes with the cpu; or do I have to get extra cooling equipment?

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500 BX80623I52500 Processor - Quad Core, 6MB L3 Cache, 1MB L2 Cache, 3.30 GHz (3.70 GHz Max Turbo), Socket H2 (LGA1155), 95W, Fan
I'm really set on getting a quad-core cpu because I feel it will 'stay relevant' longer.

GPU: HIS H667FS1G Radeon HD 6670 Video Card - 1GB, DDR3, PCI-Express 2.1 (x16), 1x Dual-Link DVI-D, 1x HDMI, 1x VGA, DirectX 11, Single-Slot
Cheapest card I could find with 1GB memory. Should support any type of monitor? Brother's screen is LCD.

MoBo: BIOSTAR TZ77B Intel 7 Series Motherboard - ATX, Socket H2 (LGA1155), Intel Z77 Express, 2600MHz DDR3 (O.C.), SATA III (6Gb/s), RAID, 8-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe 3.0, CrossFireX Ready
Has SATA III and PCIe 3.0, so there's room for upgrades. HD 6670 will work with this mobo? A multi-gpu set-up would have to use AMD cards, due to CrossFireX?

RAM: Crucial CT2KIT25664BA1339 4GB PC10600 DDR3 1333MHz Desktop Memory Upgrade - Non-ECC, Unbuffered, CL9, 2x2048MB
Found cheapest 4Gb RAM. Wanted two modules, in case one crapped out.

HDD: Western Digital WD2500BPVT Scorpio Blue Mobile Hard Drive - 250GB, 2.5", SATA 3G, 5400 RPM, 8MB
Really wanted SSD but budget doesn't allow right now. Found cheapest HDD with good capacity.

Case: Apevia X-DREAMER3-BK X-DREAMER3 Mid Tower Case - ATX, mATX, Black
It's big and comes with 3 fans and a neat little heat sensor thing. Plus, I figured my brother would like the blue LED lights and such.

PSU: Need help with this. Don't really know how to figure out wattage requirements. Would prefer cheapest, most appropriate PSU.

Monitor, keyboard and mouse will be re-used.

Thank you very much for reading! This is really exciting.

Okay so first of all your mobo maker ,Biostar, sucks. They make cheap boards that break. I would recommend you stick with asus, gigabyte, or asrock. Second if you do overclock you are going to want a "K" series processor so the i5-2500k is what you want not the i5-2500 also if you are going to over clock you would want a heat sink fan like the hyper 212+ or if you want to spend a little more money the true spirit 140. Also that hard drive is a 2.5 inch drive which i dont think is a problem but it is only 5400 rpm so it will be PAINFULLY slow. And then last your video card, you said 1gb memory so i am going to assumw you are going to go with the memory as kind of a performance gauge but its really not (not trying to call you stupid) but what you would really want to look at is what is your bro going to do? play battlefield 3 or online flash games? all this depends on what video card you should get. i am a little busy so if i get the time i will post a build. If not i am sure a fellow member can give you a build, Looking at you knufire lol, anyways last piece of advice i would give you is DON'T SKIMP OUT ON THE PSU. Buy from a reputable psu making company, like from corsair or silverstone here is a sticky for good psu's http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=589708
