My sound goes out when i go above 66mhz on my SOYO 7IWM/L v1.0 and my video card goes out if i go above 83mhz, I have an 810 intel Whitney chipset Can I change my voltage?

it sounds like your sound and vidio are particulaly affected by the pci bus. this is the part of your front side bus that hits them. like at 66 the fsb is divided by 2 to get 33 for a pci bus. you need to climb to the next diveder to get a resonable pci speed. i think my freinds has a 1/3 divider at 92 so he has to hit 92 or he cant get anywere. if he was to use 91 the divider is still 1/2 so his pci bus is 45.5 and thats way out of spec. i hope that heads you in the right direction.

I'm not sure I get what you are saying, i undersyand that 33mhz is needed for sound but when i go to 94mhz fsb my video goes out even when it says the pci speed is 31mhz and that is the highest it goes, thanks for trying to help though can anyone else give me any pointers? I am new at this overclocking crap, i might just go ou and buy a new sound card if nothing works, once i get the money that is
