I just finished assembling a new system for my bro. Here are the specs.
DFI nF4 Ultra D
2x1gig OCZ PC3200 (CL2)
ATI AIW 600Pro
WD 37 gig Raptor SATA
Maxtor 250 Gig 16mb cache SATA
AMD X2 4400
XP90 w Delta 3 Blade 92x38mm fan
2 NEC 16x DVD/RW
Enermax 485w Noisetaker PSU
Man, I'm soooooo jealous!!!!
My problem is I can't hook up the front firewire because the wires don't seem to match the connections. The board connections are marked as follows:
1 TPA+
2 TPA-
3 Ground
4 Ground
5 TPB+
6 TPB-
7 +12v
8 +12v
9 Key
10 Ground

My wires from my case read:
TPA+
TPA-
TPB+
TPB-
Shield
VG
VP

Yes' I have a 10 pin connecter on the board and only 7 pins to connect. So, where do the VG, VP and Shied connecters go? Any help would be appreciated.
BTW this is a Silerstone TJ04B case and I HATE IT! It is the most awful case I have ever installed in and it's the most expensive. How do you like them apples. Go figure.

Yes, you are right. I will do that, but it will be a few days as I won't know if it's working right till I can make some kind of firewire transfers.
