ok,here go's,I recently bought an
MPC ClientPro 545 Motherboard, INTEL D875PBZ,the board was used but guarenteed to be working Socket 478 and a
LOGISYS Computer CS368RB Red & Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
to put it in,I quickly discovered that the board was shorting out to the case,on boot, nothing, blank screen,so,since I know you breadbox a board by placing it on cardboard,I took the box the case came in and cut out a cardboard square, slightly larger then the case and mounted 4 thumbscrews and standoffs, one in each corner, then it came on,bad checksum etc.,after about 3000 bios 3 pin resets,I got it to working in it's present condition,it recognizes my sata 7200 rpm velociraptor harddrive etc.,AND,there was this square, easily bendable, aluminum rack type thing with 2 c shaped hooks that went up and mounted through 2 of the standoff holes, one in the upper left hand corner on the back of the case,,it had a protruding L shaped metal thing that touched the back of the case,I took it off and mounted the board as so described,it works, but no sound and I can't fix it,I've been working on it for days,I downloaded the audio drivers for this motherboard from the mpc website, but when I tried to install them my system crashed to BSOD,and I had to start all over from scratch,,I have windows xp pro 32 bit os,,my video card is an ati radeon 4670,it has audio drivers called rear HD high definition audio drivers,I tried them several times but they never did anything,I tried soundMAX audio drivers over and over, but they never did anything either,,I tried changing the bios setting under boot configurations,to plug and play, but that never worked either,I have the bios set to enable onboard audio,it is enabled,my soundcard is shot, that's why I'm trying so desperately to get my onboard audio working,I have 2 cheap usb 8 dollar oriental speakers that I know work off ebay, they are designated hy-218's,now under device manager,it a a big yellow question mark, saying I have no multimedia audio controller,so frankly,I've tried everything I know to do,and nothing has worked,

,so,without some help from some REAL expert(s) from overclocker's forums, frankly I am at a loss as to what else to do,thank you for your time, patience, and consideration
I looked, and under device manager/legacy audio drivers/properties,it is blank,I wonder,do's anyone think that if I downloaded and installed realtek ac97 audio driver's,that that might fix my problem??? cpu id say's this board came out in 2003?
