Help OC'ing ATI X800XL (possibly R480 core)

I posted in another topic about this, but no one has replied to it. I picked up an X800XL from Newegg and it has the 6 pin PCI-E connector. How do I check if this has got the R480 core, and if it does, do I just use ATI tool to overclock it? I'm new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

If it's 400/490 then it's an R430 core.

Not true, the GTO2 is 400/490 but is a R480, The bad news is that the XL is R430 unless you got the AGP AIW version then you got a R420. Take a look at my sig, and the X800 overclocking database you can see how these cards OC.

Yeah, I was talking about in respect to it being an X800XL not a GTO2. Though you are absolutely correct.
