help on brother's computer?

My little bro has a computer..pentiumIII 1ghz. I just reformatted for him and now when he plays games its really laggy.

I know for the AMD's and the via chipsets, you have to install the via4and1 drivers and stuff. What do I have to install for his? As of now, I just know he has an asus board. The video card is integrated

you might have to install the mobo drivers from asus for like agp and such... what is the exact model for the board?

Well I used sandra and it said: ASUS CUSL2-C?

ah ok, lookingup the stuff on the asus site now :)


oops,videocard is a gforce2 mx400. Guess installing that driver would help :D

What OS you using? You'll want to probably do the latest Windows updates and Directx also.

I fixed it :D I didn't realize the video card was an add on, thought it was integrated. Once I realized it was a geforce2, I installed the detonator driver. Now,everything's fine :D
