Thank you Theocnoob for your guide to overclock i7 3770k/AsRock z77. I finally was able to increase the frequency of my CPU. But I have a doubt about the test with Prime95: in fact after bringing the CPU to 4.5Ghz I performed the tests 'Blend' but after 17 minutes the temperature of a core had gone to 90 °.
While using Intel Burn Test, as you recommended, I had no problem in finishing the test with a maximum temperature of 83 °.
The configuration of my computer is the following:
PSU ENERMAX 80+ 625W
M/B ASRock Z77 Extreme6/TB4
Ram 8xDDR3 GSkill F3-2400C11-4GAB
CPU Intel I7-3770K 3.50Ghz with NOCTUA NH-U12P SE2
GPU Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560Ti 1024 MB
SSD Corsair Force 3 240Gb
HD WDC WD10EARS 1000Gb
HD SAMSUNG HD154UI 1500Gb
Mast. LG DVD-RAM GH22LS30 LS
Monitor LG W2363 [23" LCD]
Case Cooler Master Cooler Master 690 II Advanced - PURE Black Edition

vistas,

theocnoob's account is no longer active, so he cannot respond to this thread.

You didn't list what voltage you used in your post to achieve 4.5ghz with the 3770k, please list that.

vistas, you'll be better off making a new thread and saying "I tried these steps, but I need more help" and listing your hardware.

Created new thread for better help (as i feel this wont be resolved in a couple posts). :)

I've listed my hardware in the previous post. I also followed step by step guide of Theocnob

Use manual CPU voltage and set 4.5GHz at 1.3V.
Run Prime95 and show us a screenshot of HWMonitor after 20minutes of P95.

:mad::eek::mad::eek::mad:
I had to stop the test because of temperatures higher than 90 °
I set the CPU to 4.5Ghz 1.3V

Re mount the CPU cooler and try again.
Take a picture of how your current TIM application looks when you remove the cooler.

My 3770K was a silicon lottery jackpot, OC'd to 4.5GHz with a bump of +0.025v, went to 4.3GHz with stock voltage (1.08v?). Wish every 3770K was like that.

As above, re-seat your cooler, then 1.3V should get you to 4.5Ghz- probably looking at Illuto get 4.8Ghz or so. This was my experience. I topped out my 3770K at 4.9 at 1.44 v IIRC.
