Im trying to overclock my pentium III 800 to a gig. But i cant get my multiplyer factor to get above 6. I'll save and restart, but the opening bios still shows the external clock setting being multiplied by 6. Any info on how i can get it higher, or a different voltage/bus speed stable at higher speeds but still have a multiplyer setting of 6? I want to have a 1000mhz system ;)

Sorry but all P3 cpu's are locked.
You cannot change the multiplier.
You can only increase the front side bus speed.
And since you have a 133mhz cpu you will might have a hard time getting it to go much further.
So set it to the next step above 133 and see if it will go then repeat.
Only raise the voltage when it wont go any further with just changing the fsb.
Btw you will need a fsb of 166.6 to get 1ghz.
Good luck:)
