I know this may be the wrong forum for this question, but I need a quick answer.

I bought a Xp1900 and a ASUS A7V333 MB and PC2700 generic.

I cant the PC2700 to run at CAS2.

Someone told me that can buy some Samsung PC3200 (400mhz)
memory and run it at 333 and it would do Cas 3.

How do you set up the memory to Run at 333 and at CAS 2 on this Motherboard?

Anyone with a ASUS A7V333?

well the best forum for this is ASUS AMD motherboard section.
There is no CAS3 in DDR AFAIK, so the generic RAM is propably running at CAS2.5 which is the lowest/slowest, and because the RAM is generic it might not be good enough & won't be able to handle CAS2. I cannot say where in the BIOS the settings are though.

also on a side note, your sig is too big, with normal text size that you use you are allowed upto 10 lines, u got 16. I suggest you resize it b4 the mods see it and do it for ya
